Sequin Skull, Distressed Jeans: DIY.

 Want  a pair of fun jeans for fall? 

Why not make some yourself.

 Things you need.

1.  Jeans
2. Aleene's Quick Dry Fabric Fusion
3. Sequin Material (* Joann Fabric)
4. Scissors
5. Stencil
6. X-acto Knife
7. Tweezers

 First find a a picture you like and trace it or draw it, 

then cut it out for your stencil.

 Cut your jeans off to make them cropped.

 With your X-acto knife fray the bottoms

 Now lets distress these jeans a little.

  Cut two horizontal slits in your jeans

Pull out the vertical threads with a pair of tweezers

Repeat  this step wherever you want.

 Place your skull on your material, pin it  and cut out.

you could also use Tulip Stencil Spray adhesive to hold the stencil while you cut it.

I cut out two skulls one for the back pocket and one for the front leg.

 Take your quick dry Fabric Fusion glue

and place it all over the back of your stencil.

playing close attention to the edges. *Do not  use two much glue 

you don't want is squishing out all over the place.

 Place it on your back pocket hold it there for about 30 seconds

 I rolled over it with a a little roller or you could use your glue bottle.

 Now turn your jeans inside out.

Lets put a little sequin material behind some of the distressed cuts you made  

for that peek a boo sequin look.

 glue around your hole, careful not to use too much.

 Place your sequin material on the glue *sequin side down.

Hold for about 30 seconds

then trim the excess.

 when your done, turn your jeans right side out.

 I placed one more skull on the right leg of my jeans.

Let dry about 6 hours 24 before you wash.

*When you wash them  wash in cold water and hang dry, no dryer, they will last longer.

I also put some sequin material on the coin pocket to balance out the front.
