DIY Embellished Appliqués

This fall it’s all about embellishment and it’s super easy to create your own personalized Embellished Appliqués to add to a bag, a jacket or really anywhere you want using Tulip’s Dimensional Paint. This paint is so awesome, it comes in so many colors and it looks great after it’s dry. You can even add extra embellishments to it like; beads, sequins or glitter to up the wow factor! Quick an easy to use.  It has quickly become one of my very favorite products when I do any kind of painting on material (and I do a lot of T-shirt DIY's ) 

This shirt idea came after my family and I took a trip to Epcot this past week.

Pairs is my favorite place to wonder around. Sometime I just sit in the gardens and watch people.

I have never been to Pairs, hopefully that will be a place I see someday soon.

Dashes and Dots DIY Floral Mugs

Not too long ago I rocked out some polka dot and floral mugs with the awesome, permanent and totally food safe Painted by Me markers. Rob and I have talked about having lots of dishes where nothing matches but there is a common theme of black and white. Well, actually, I told him about it and he thought the idea was good enough to get behind so it's all systems go!

I'm not sure if you've ever looked for unique pieces within a very strict color scheme but it's a royal pain in the neck. Even with a color scheme as simple as black and white I'm having a hard time filling the cabinet with enough dishes for a service of 2 let alone a party of 8. And that is a good part of why I'm totally digging Painted by Me. I now have 6 mugs that match even though they don't "match" and it's perfect! Floral Polka Dot Mugs

I have always loved florals and I am super exited that they are coming back in style. Right at this very moment I'm rocking gray sweatpants with big, pretty pink roses all over. And while it was pouring this morning they were quite comfy and warm, at the moment they are a bit too hot. But they are pretty so I'm still wearing them! 

Wanting to bring a pop of color to my new black and white dishware scheme it seemed a brilliant idea to make my very own mugs. This way I get to pick the exact colors and style. In the end I love them so, so much!
