How to make A Stenciled Graffiti Shirt

Happy let's decorate a shirt day! I recently got some of Tulip's new stencils in the mail and I just could not wait to use them. They are all super cute! I thought since it's the summer time I would give you a craft that you could do alone or with your kids. You will be creating a unique shirt that will be one of a kind. The great thing about this craft is you can use whatever colors that tickle your belly with happiness.
Let's get started...

Striped, Strapless No-Sew T-Shirt, DIY.

I have been trying to come up with new, no sew T- shirts in different styles, and while I was experimenting on a no sew skirt this weekend,  I came up with this cute no sew strapless shirt.
I used Tulip Neon Fabric Sprays to help me create a beautiful stripped pattern.
You could wear this with your favorite jeans, shorts or even use it  as a beach cover up.
The best part is there is no sewing involved.

DIY American Flag-Inspired Shorts

Fourth of July is right around the corner, and if you're like me you want to look fly for the holiday weekend..
.
because let's face it Jeshua...you're single and you need to make an effort... at some point.

The other day I was shopping at an overpriced boutique store - and by shopping, I mean looking at everything saying "I could make that"- and I came across some denim cut-offs with an American (USA) Flag pattern painted on it.

I decided to do my own take on the painted denim. It's subtle enough to be worn all summer long and patriotic enough to be an Independence Day statement piece.

– A pair of denim shorts
– Sand paper
– Painter's tape

Star Gazing Tote Project!

Get inspired by the celestial trend and make a super easy, stylish tote that you can load up with your favorite summer must-haves and head out the door.

Here's what you need:

A tote. I picked up this canvas tote bag fully lined at Walmart for a mere $10.Tulip Fabric Sprays in several colors. I chose Sapphire, Dark Teal, Black, and Grape.
Tulip Glam-It-Up Crystals and cordless heat setting tool

Here's how you make it:

To create the look of a night sky, spray your tote with the Sapphire color first. Spray completely around the bottom of the tote.Next, spray the Dark Teal above the Sapphire color, letting the overspray blend the two colors.Spray Asphalt (black) on the bottom area of the bag. Be careful not to cover too much of the Sapphire and Dark Teal. Finally, spray on light touches of Grape here and there. Let dry.

To create twinkling lights in your sky, use the heat tool to randomly apply the crystals. It takes about 10 seconds per crystal. Use as many as you like.
