Cinderella Silhouette Pillow: DIY

I have a Co-Worker who absolutely LOVES Cinderella. In a couple of weeks she is leaving us to pursue bigger and better things and to me it is very bittersweet.  I am so very proud of her and I really hate to see her leave our team but like all things that grow and become better they can not stay in the same place.  I am making her a few going away gifts to reminder her that she, like Cinderella,
is Courageous and Kind and to never forget it!
  We love you Christy!
Lots of <3

Chevron Tie Dyed, Open back Tee: DIY

Tie Dye is one of my favorite craft projects.
I love it because it always surprises me when I  make one.
This summer I have been experimenting on different techniques,
and different ties of folds, rolls and wrapping.
Not only does Tulip One step Tie dyes make it super simple and fast,
Tulip makes it and  a lot less messy.
I was so pleased when this side wrap turned into a  Chevron design.
My only advice is to wear gloves at all times,
but even with gloves you will get dye on your hands. Guaranteed.
Summer and Tie Dye, is a great thing.

No Sew, 2 in 1:Strapless Top or Skirt Cover-up.

I love multi- functional pieces of clothing especially when I have limited space to pack for vacation.
This is the perfect piece to take to the beach with two functions,
cover up bathing suit skirt and a cute halter.
Not only is this easy to make, it is inexpensive and no sewing is involved.

Flag Shirt, DIY

Flag shirts are so much fun to make
and since The 4th of July is just around the corner
I thought this would be a fun project.
I really love these new Color Shot Fabric paints by Tulip.
They cut the time it takes me to do a project in half
which is wonderful because my time is so limited.

Ideas about how to recreate a t-shirt are constantly haunting me.
I have so many thoughts about t-shirt it's a little crazy.
Why do I always go back to using t-shirts?
Well,  who doesn't  have a t-shirt lying around,
and if you don't have one they only cost $5.00.
Here is a quick way to spruce up a plain old white t-shirt.
Oh.. and I am a little obsessed with Palm leaves at the moment.

Canvas Stencil Art

Canvas Art is a great way to express exactly how you feel.
Making these easy little pieces of art for someone
interjects a  piece of your energy and soul into the gift.
Now every time they look at it they will think of you.
What a great way to remind someone of how much they mean to you.

Tulip has the perfect flexible stencil, paint and crystals
to make this project  easy to create and really POP.

Glitter Kiss, Burlap Pillow, DIY

I love a touch of whimsey in my home, that is what makes it me.
I decorate with things I love more than with text book rules.
I think little touches of you everywhere makes the room feel like home.
Making this  burlap pillow to add that special touch was really easy.
Tulip makes all sort of products for you to add that special "You" touch to just about anything.
Lips are not the only thing that could go on this,
think outside the box, if you don't like lips then do something that relates to you.
That special touch of "You" that says, " Ahh I am Home!"

Peekaboo Shamrock Tee

About 3 years ago I made a off the shoulder Heart  Peekaboo shirt for Valentine's Day.

I thought using this same idea I could make a Shamrock shirt.
I added a few  Tulip Crystals to the Shamrock Shirt  to give it that extra sparkle.
If you follow me at all you know that I am continuously trying
to reinvent the plain old tee shirt.

Sweatshirt Sequin Bolero.

I have had this left over piece of a sweatshirt
from a previous project just sitting in my scrap bin for about 8 months.
I am the very worst at throwing left over pieces away,
I always want to  recycle them.
I have been on the look out for little
boleros to keep my shoulders and arms warm.
I thought this would be perfect project.
Come and see how easy it is to make.

Easy Holiday Infinity Scarf.

I love to put something warm around my neck when it is cold outside.  Making  a inexpensive scarf out of a tee shirt is the best way to be creative and have a different scarf  everyday. Tulip Glitter Transfer Sheets come in all different colors and are quick and easy to use, and if  there is  one thing I do not have right now is loads of time. This project took me about 30 minutes  to complete.
These would even make great gifts.
