4 Ways to Make Your Own Ugly Holiday Sweater

The UGLY HOLIDAY SWEATER party season is upon us, so we decided to share with you 4 super cheesy ways to dress up your holiday sweater in kitschy Christmas glory!  We have the best Aleene's glues and Tulip fabric paints and to make a major statement at your sweater party and hopefully take home the big prize!  Special thanks to Chloe, our Content Editor & Brand Specialist for making these ugly sweaters actually look good! Let's take a look at how our designers got these amazingly bad looks that you're gonna wanna steal!

PattieWack tied one on and made this fantastic Christmas Tree sweater using ties and Fabric Fusion products!  She found all the holiday ties for this project at a local thrift store, cut them to size in the shape of a tree, and applied them using Aleene's Fabric Fusion Tape. She then adorned the tie with ornaments a.k.a. buttons using a bottle of Fabric Fusion!

Next up is Suzie Shinseki's holiday reindeer sweater!  She started with a brown sweater and used felt, Tulip Fabric Markers, and Aleene's Fabric Fusion Tape to create Santa's head man in charge.  She applied the falling snow pom poms using Aleene's Fabric Fusion to the front...
...and she also added a touch of reindeer droppings to the back. LOL!
Lauren Moritz got catty with her ugly sweater and made an adorable quotetastic cat in a stocking using Tulip Shimmer Sheets, 3D Paint, and a glue gun!  We think it's absolutely MEOW-velous!
And finally, freelance designer Erika Lindquist of the Sew Doggy Style blog made this sparkly pom pom tree using Tulip Shimmer Sheets, pom poms, and Aleene's Fabric Fusion!  All you friends will be saying OH! when they see this Christmas tree!

Which one of these looks would you rock to your Ugly Sweater Party?
