DIY "Dip Dyed" Rope Jewelry

DIY Jewelry is the best! By doing it yourself you can have all the latest styles without paying the price. This nautical "Dip Dye" Rope necklace and bracelet are going to be a staple for the summer. They'll give you that pop of color but are very simple and not too flashy what-so-ever.
Here is what you will need:

thin rope/ macrame cord
scissors
painters tape
flat-nose pliers

Step 1: Cut 6 pieces of rope about 2 feet long. Cut some slightly longer and some slightly shorter.
Step 2: Gather the 6 pieces of rope so that all of the ends are together and wrap with painter's tape. Then gather the other ends together and do the same thing.

Step 3: Using the Tulip Fashion Fabric Spray, spray the bottom portion of the stands. Flip it over and do the same to the back side.

Step 4:  Taking another piece of rope, wrap it around the painters tape. Glue it down with Aleene's Max Tacky Adhesive.

To make the bracelet, just spray 4 pieces of 6 inch rope and secure them in between the findings. Then you will have the perfect matching jewelry set perfect for adding a pop of color to a simple summer dress or outfit.
