Big Eyed Monster Puppets

I have to admit, I love monster crafts. I can’t help it! They are super cute, and girls and boys alike think they’re fun too. What’s not to like?
What I love about these is that they require so few supplies, and chances are you have them at home if you do basic crafting with your kids.

I found an adorable eyeball printable online, but you could even make your own if you wanted to by cutting circles from white and black construction paper.
When you are all done making these you can stick them into planters, hang them in the window or have yourself a monster puppet show.
To make these puppets you will need:
– Construction paper in colors of your choice
– Aleene’s School Glue
–Eyeball printable
– White paper
– Jumbo craft sticks
– Tools: pencil, scissors, black marker
Draw simple shapes for the monster bodies. You can use a wide mouthed cup to trace out circles, or cut out blob-type shapes, whatever you like!
Cut hair, claws and antennas from construction paper.
I even used a handprint to make one of the monster bodies.
When I printed these eyeballs off they were a little smaller than I wanted, so I simply enlarged them on my copier.
You can draw simple mouths by cutting out a shape from white paper then drawing lines for the teeth.
Assemble your monsters using Aleene’s school glue.
Attach each one to a jumbo craft stick. let them dry completely and have yourself a fun puppet show with your friends!
Need another monstrously fun idea? Make these craft stick monsters too!
