Project we Love: Pink Puffy Paint Paper Dress
Puffy Paint as high fashion...now this gets our creative juices flowing! This dress was created for by Saddleback College fashion student Amanda Hunn for Amanda and Peter, a couple who were celebrating their one year anniversary and were wanting to make a statement in a photo shoot. Here's some photos from the James Carson Photo Blog highlighting their session and spotlighting Amanda's stunning paper dress!
According to the Saddleback College Fashion Blog, Amanda made the dress from close to 200 paper plates, 2 bottles of black puffy paint and a bunch of jewels.
Don't you love the matching tie too? Great job Amanda! Read more about Amanda on her blog!

Love the dress!
very clever and innovative, such a cool idea
What is there not to love about that dress??? Great shots of it as well! I would love to see the entire piece. I love that she was able to get it to fit so well even though it's of that stiff paper plate paper. It is inspirational(craft-wise).
The dress is perfect! So creative and unique! And don't forget it has a matching tie for the escort! The couple did well in their planning as well as the execution and finished product. Keep sharing cool ideas!
Gorgeous dress and tie! The student who made this area so creative, innovative and has a lot of patience. Those are not easy to make, specially when they are first planning what to create - the very first stage of their planning. That is why these students need a lot of recognizing for their work for they have a bright future ahead of them. Good job!
