Spray Dye Beach Hat

Summer’s here and you’ve got to protect yourself from the sun and as always we want to look great at the same time. A big colorful hat is the perfect summer accessory. This is a super quick way to add a pop of color to your wardrobe and spice up your summer. Using the spray dyes from Tulip you can get great color fast, click through to see how!

TOOLS & MATERIALS:

Tulip Spray Dye Kit

Beach hat (natural fiber)

step 1

Prepare your dye space. 

I used the bathtub and laid a plastic bag down to catch all the extra spray.

step 2

Start spraying around the outer edge of your hat, working your way in.

TIP: Be sure to check the contents on your hat to make sure that it is a natural fiber, yes paper works too!

You can go over the sprayed areas until you get the color you want.

step 3

Once you get the color the way you want turn your hat over and spray the underside of your hat.

Let the dye sit for a few hours.

step 4

Rinse out your hat until the water runs clear.

Let dry.
