No Sew Lace Trim Shorts

Denim is always huge for summer and it pairs well with most everything. So why not take those distressed shorts and add a touch of lace to create a new look for an old favorite. Using Aleene’s Quick Dry Fabric Fusion you can add a lace trim in minutes with a no sew technique that’s as strong as thread. Click through to see how easy it is!

TOOLS & MATERIALS:
Jean Shorts
Lace Trim approx 2 yards
Scissors

step 1
Turn your shorts inside out.

step 2
Starting at the inside seam put a line of Aleene’s Quick Dry Fabric Fusion along the bottom edge of the shorts.

step 3
Press the top edge of your lace onto the line of glue.

Continue following steps 1 and 2 until you have your lace all the way around.

Let your lace over-lap about half an inch before trimming off excess lace.

Do this for both legs of your shorts.

Let the glue dry for 24 hours before washing or wearing.
