I'd probably start out with a robot/spaceship and a monster tshirt for my son. After that, all bets are off though I'm seeing some decorations on some of my shopping bags happening...

I would use them as accents on handmade cards and scrapbook pages. Much like beads or gems but less likely to fall off. That's just for starters: great accent for my many totes and bage! Great product.

I would like to use it on shirts and skirts. It would also be great for Christmas decorations.

I would love to use these small dots of color on my mixed media pieces. Especially small ones where rhinestones are too bulky. The Beads in a Bottle would perfectly outline a picture or highlight that special piece of ephemera that is crying out to be the star in a piece.

i just found out my soon to be grandbaby (my 1st!!!) is a girl, so i would use beads in a bottle to start making cute decorations for her room. Then once shes older i will be putting them on clothes and accessories for her. plus i'll be using them for clothes and accessories for me too! ;-D

I have a denim purse that needs a little something.
Beads in the bottle would be perfect to decorate it. I love stippling so the dots would be a cool way to create designs.

I'd use them in my papercrafting projects! These would be fabulous to cover a book cover with!

I would use it to decorate a hand bag or cardigan for my bi-weekly contribution for http://www.skulladay.blogspot.com/ and to have something pretty. Much easier than beading it myself.

My head is spinning with additional ideas! I'd love to use Beads in a Bottle to create a wide yoke neck piece to wear as a necklace, christmas ornaments, embellished dog collars for my daughter's pup... and on and on!

I'm making a smash up book for my BFF who I've known since 1988. It's about our friendship. Anyway, it would be so fun to use this pack to add elements to the smash up book for her.

Really, I would try it on everything I can get my hands on! First, I would cover a box with fabric and do some experimenting. I think a beanie or beret made from an upcycled t-shirt would be a cool canvas. Speaking of canvas...tote bags, shoes, and how about artists canvas? Oh, the places you'll go Beads in a Bottle!

CJG said...

I think that I'd try it out on a t-shirt and make some sort of decorative "trim." Of course, I'd like to reconstruct the t-shirt first to make an old Hanes men's t-shirt into something a little more flattering. And then I could doll it up with some Beads in a Bottle.

I'd also like to make a little clutch purse or change purse (or even a wallet to hold all of my store rewards cards) with a frog on it. I'm thinking that I could use one of my frog rubber stamps (I have one that is wildly patterned) to stamp the design. I could fill in the design with the Beads in a Bottle and then stitch it into the purse.

It could also be fun to take a pair of old canvas shoes I have and, after tossing them in the wash, attacking them with Beads in a Bottle in some sort of random design. It would definitely be out of my comfort zone to try something so unplanned, but it could turn into something great!

And probably get an old lamp from the thrift store, and go to town on it with this. :D I'd also try them on my art journal pages, just to see if they'd dry sticky, and if not, they'd be all over my pages! Oh, and boxes! These boxes I have that are begging to be decorated with these - yup, those too!!

Thanks for the opportunity!!

Marie said...

Beads in a bottle is a good idea....it will be great to put them on ribbons and lace, when regular beads won't stay put. Love vintage cards and I use a lots of beads of different sizes and now I don't have the problem of running out of a specific size of bead when using beads in a bottles. Thanks

Well, the first thing to pop into my head was the fabric cuffs I've been making for my grandgirls. Some beads in a bottle would surely make them more like real "jewel"ry. Then accents on my cards... details on T shirts... Wow! I can see them on lots of things.

I would also fill in the center of the flowers and accentuate the shapes of the lace around the photos on the scrapbook pages. There are soo many ideas in my head on how to use them.
