so I have been experimenting with a few strapless no sews over the last week.

so I have been experimenting with a few strapless no sews over the last week.
When you add a little Tulip Gold- Glitter Fabric Paint
you have your very own unique creation.
I hope you have as much fun making this top as much as I did.
Things You Need
Shirt * I used a men's medium
Scissors
Tape
Safety Pin
Cardboard,Cookie sheet or Plastic bag
Paper plate
Cardboard,Cookie sheet or Plastic bag
Paper plate
Tape right under the arms of the shirt.
*This just makes it easier to cut a straight line.
Cut across you shirt.
flip your shirt upside down.
Now the bottom hem is the top of your shirt.
You will use this to make the tie of the shirt.
Cut the strip open on one side.
Now stretch out the strip,
It should make a stretchy cord like piece.
Tape off your lines.
I made my lines slanted and different widths.
Place your TULIP Gold Paint on a paper plate.
Place a piece of card board or a plastic bag in between your shirt,
or you can use a cookie sheet,
and Paint your lines
Let that dry for 4-6 hours.
Mark the front, middle of your shirt.
Cut a small slit, big enough to fit a safety pin through.
* do not cut all the way through, just the first layer of shirt.
Tie one end of the cord that you made to the safety pin.
Weave the safety pin all the way around the channel and bring it out.
When you put on your shirt,
tie it to fit you.

Now you have a cute Strapless shirt to wear during the last days of Summer.

I have to tell you I love your blog and have been excited to try some of the no sew tees! I created this strapless shirt tonight using a men's medium (I'm the exact same size as you). I'm disappointed because the shirt is baggy & completely shapeless on me! In your pic the shirt looks more form fitting. Did you do anything to the bottom to make it tighter? It looks odd with a belt & its too short to tie the side. Thanks!
