DIY Text Sweatshirt

There’s nothing like a comfy sweatshirt when the weather’s chilly, so why not embellish it with a fun saying to step it up a notch. The Tulip Dimensional Paints are super easy to use and create perfect dimensional letters.

TOOLS & MATERIALS:
Sweatshirt
Letter stencils or print your own
Tape

step 1
Place your stencils or your printed text onto your sweatshirt and tape in place.

step 2
Since I’m using printed letters I press the fabric marker through the paper to create a dotted outline of my letters.

Then go back and outline the letters with your fabric marker if they’re a little difficult to see.

step 3
Using my white Tulip Dimensional Paint I filled in my letters.

When your letters are all filled in you can wait for the white paint to dry or you can do ahead and do your outline now. I didn’t let it dry in between and as long as you are careful it’s not a problem.

step 4
Using my black Tulip Dimensional Paint I carefully outlined my letters.

When you are finished let your letters dry for a few hours or overnight.

As your paint dries you will see that any bumps or peaks in the paint will smooth out.

No time to make this project right now? No worries Pin it for later!
