Quilled Paper Jewelry DIY

Quilling is one of those crafts that has always perplexed me. I was never sure of the what, why and how of quilling. On a recent trip to the craft store I stubbled across an all in one quilling kit from 3Birds Designs and a light went on. Suddenly seeing all the parts together it clicked. The fact that they have cute packaging and awesome colors of quilling strips didn't hurt either. All that I needed was a bottle of my Aleene's Clear Gel Tacky Glue and I was ready to get my quill on.

Polkadots and Neon - A Fun Jewelry DIY

My first crafty love is jewelry. It has been a long time since I have made in. Sometimes when you love something you have to set it free and then see if it comes back to you, blah blah blah. Whatever the reason I just had jewelry burnout. Lately I have been getting the itch to whip up some wearable magic. Enter wooden beads and my new favorite craft supply - Puffy Paint Writers.

MAYAINTHEMOMENT TEEN CRAFT:Jewelry Mosaic Shadow Box

Hello, MayaInTheMoment here! I found some vintage mixed matched jewelry in my garage, and fell in LOVE with it! (Some of them I kept because I just couldn't resist...)
So, i'm going to show you how to make a Jewelry Mosaic Shadow Box!

 SUPPLIES:
Paint box any color you desire. I chose black on the inside, and gold on the outside to create a vintage look! Let this dry before the next step.
Apply Tacky glue and jewelry piece. Make sure you hold it in place for a couple of minutes, and wait 30 minutes for the glue to dry.
Add crystals by brushing on tacky glue, then using  Tulip® Glam-It-Up!™ Fashion Art Tweezers™

apply crystals. This tool makes it so much easier!Next, I added some color to make it pop! I used Tulip's dimensional paint in "Sugar Plum". I also used Collage Pauge in "Sparkles".
Finished! I love how it has an antique feel to it. Can't wait to hang this up on my wall! Hope this gave you some inspiration!

Love, Maya
