How to Bling-Up a Lamp

Happy Hump Day! Jaderbomb here and I am super stoked to show you what I made with my new tool from I Love to Create! Now I am from the South (DEEP SOUTH) and if you know anything about us cajuns then you know we LOVE everything jazzed up.  No kidding, we bedazzle anything and everything. The only problem is you have to BUY everything jazzed up already and you are sorta limited to what you can get. NOT ANYMORE Y'ALL!!!!

Today I am going to show you a snazzy little tool that will allow you to put jewels EVERYWHERE!
I have so many ideas to use this for. Since Summer is right around the corner you can buy a plain bathing suit and add these jewels to the top part, decorate a onesie, an I-pad case, a pillow case and so much more.

This is also a really great craft for kids to do. Just make sure they are monitored because this tool gets REALLY HOT and we don't want them to burn themselves. How cute would that be!
Let's get started!!!

CRAFTY CINEMA: 'Men In Black' Collar Necklace

The Men in Black are known for their white collars, here’s a way to have one too, except much more fashionable and sparkly!
Aleene's® Fabric Fusion® Permanent Dry Cleanable Fabric Adhesive
Tulip® 3D Fashion Paint
Tulip® Cordless Heat Setting Tool™
Tulip® Glam-It-Up!™ Iron-On Crystals™
Paintbrush
Wire cutters
24” black satin ribbon
Dangling charm
Jump ring
2 clothespins
Collar cut off from men’s dress shirt
24” chain link
Tweezers
Instructi
ons

1. Cut the front and top of the collar away. If the shirt is large, measure the collar around your neck and cut until it fits.

2. Coat the entire collar with the 3D paint and before it’s dry, use the tweezers to add crystals all over. Press crystals into paint to adhere. The paint will dry to a sparkly background.

3. To create neck tie, fold the ends of the collar back and apply Aleene’s® Fabric Fusion. Slip in the ends of the ribbon on both sides and hold in place with a clothespin.

4. Cut chain in half using wire cutters. Add adhesive along the top of the collar and set chains in place in several rows on both sides of collar. If desired, leave some dangling down the sides.

5. Let dry overnight.

6. Add the jump ring in the center and then the dangling charm.

7. Remove clothespins and wear your necklace!

Alexander McQueen-inspired crystal shoes

We came across these gorgeous Alexander McQueen crystal embellished shoes, but they sell for over $1275.00. Until we become Hollywood starlets and can afford to buy a few pairs, we'll have to settle for making our own sparkling version.

You can do that with our Tulip® Glam-It-Up!™ Iron-On Crystals™ and Tulip® Cordless Heat Setting Tool™ !

We've spotlighted Gabriela Delworth before, but we had to give her another shout out for these super fabulous crystal sneakers she whipped up!

Here is her blog post where she shares how to make a pair for yourself.

A peek inside our crafty world!

People have often referred to our company as "the Willy Wonka Factory of Crafts", so we wanted to give you a little glimpse into our crafty world. There are a lot of products from paints to glues to bottles of glitter that we use on a daily basis, so we have to be well-stocked to meet a last minute rush project! Of course, like other crafty places, we sometimes make the occasional craft store run. Even with our many supplies, sometimes we still can't seem to find a white piece of felt or the exact pink ribbon we need!

But as far as our own products go, we usually have plenty to choose from. Case in point, check out this stash of Tulip® Glam-it-Up Iron-On Crystals™ that I noticed today at Cheryl Ball's craft desk!

I asked Cheryl why she had so many and she said, "Well, there's always one color we seem to be out of, so we have all of these on hand."

So in our craft decorating department, it's crystals that are a girl's best friend!

Check out this cool technique! We show how to apply our crystals here!
