DIY Painted Strawberry Tote

Nothing screams SUMMERTIME more than juicy strawberries. We tried to grow them in our garden this year but for some reason they were lazy and didn't give us many berries. I will say when I see a strawberry I can immediately feel my insides quenching. Plus who doesn't LOVE them! I wanted to make a strawberry bag that I can bring with me everywhere and catch everyones attention! I think this bag will do it, what about you!

Did I mention this is a GREAT craft for kids!

Let's get started.

DIY Ugly Chair Makeover

I love chairs!
But sometimes I meet an ugly chair and I just have to have an intervention.  That was the case with this chair.  And it was the perfect case for an ugly chair makeover because it was residing in the cube of Brandi, our Design Studio Coordinator.  She was desperate to have something done, and I knew just what to do.

Case in point, right?  Who doesn't love a mauve chair, leftover from the 80's or 90's and would give you some dusty buns if you sat in it. Well.... here we go. This is how you make-over an ugly chair.

American Horror Story Face Paint Tutorial

(I will tell you that I did not have black contacts in my model's eyes, however I did photoshop the black for picture purposes)

It's almost Halloween and you know what that means!!! Time to get into the character we all love or dream of being. I can't say I dream of being this particular character from American Horror Story BUT... I will say I am addicted to the show and since the new season just started I wanted to show a little love. How to bleach and ombré denim

Summer time is a time of reawakening and relaxation, and what better way to relax than to reawaken a plain item of clothing with a burst of color!
Ombré is here to stay, and if you think this trend is going anywhere, think again!
Phillip Lim debuted a bunch of cool color blocked and ombre'd pieces in his men's line earlier this year at New York fashion week.
Check out my video to see the full tutorial and get some summer inspiration.

Glitter Bones and Heart Tee.

I LOVE this time of year.
When I was young I could not wait to come up with a costume to Trick or Treat in from things I just had laying around the house. Now that I am all grown up I still feel like a little kid when October rolls around. It brings back such awesome memories. I wanted to make a shirt that I could wear even after the month of October. So the Glitter Bones Shirt was created.
